JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the overall strategy of the business, first in command in the company, and responsible for offering the correct strategic direction as well as crafting a vision for success, within the renewable energy market across the countries they operate on. He/she must also have commercial acumen and the capacity to lead many teams, ensure optimal production, and expand clientele across numerous geographies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed plan for the company activities with proper forecasting of operational needs and ensuring departmental expenditure is within the allocated budget, analyzing any variances, and proactively initiating corrective actions while developing an economical low-cost model.
• Responsible for delivering results through others through mentorship and coaching of your team members and allowing the team to take accountability and ownership of their work
• Must conduct weekly and daily check-ins for communication, and open feedback sessions and attain team alignment in terms of sales and technical installations
• Ensure proper work scheduling and regional decentralization in order to attain results within the set turnaround time
• Must be able to attain efficiency through clear communication to all stakeholders on all issues raised in reference to field operations.
• Monitor Sales and farm operations and ensure standard operating procedures are followed and optimized for maximum efficiency and visibility
• Responsible for setting standards and operational processes for the operations team to drive efficiency and ensure all team members are operating in a healthy and safe work environment.
• Must be able to create effective strategies to constantly improve the customer experience, including strategies to better resolve problems and complaints raised by the customers through the Sales
• Must work with the engineering and sales teams to support the existing escalation process for improved after-sales support.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive Sales.
• Collaborate with the other members of the business team and establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Must work with the Directors and other executives to establish short-term and long-term goals and related plans and policies.
• Must review the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company’s objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
• Ensures the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
• Negotiate with other companies regarding actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
• Responsible for serving as the company’s representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, the government, and the public.
• Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 6+ years at the CEO level is preferred.
• Must possess leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Strong understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
• Must have a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Must be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• Must have international business experience
• Must possess exceptional executive presence, business acumen, and presentation skills.
• A sound budgeting and/or financially focused mindset is helpful.
• Must have excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any business operations area.
• Must have good communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
• Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations
