Front-End Developer

Our Client, a reputable tech-based Microfinance Bank, with focus
on providing financial access to everyone by empowering individuals with access to credit and
seamless payments solutions for effective financial management in an emerging market is looking to
hire an experienced and result driven Front-End Developer to join its team.

Work Mode: Onsite

JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be working alongside a web team to determine customer needs, brainstorm
solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present these prototypes to customers, and both
develop and optimize live platforms. He/she will be agile, possess strong technical skills, and isn’t
afraid to ask questions. An understanding of not just how to code but why certain code works is
important. Reporting line is to the Chief Digital Channel Executive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create design- and user-focused experiences
• Build personalized and customized features for customers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Develop standard code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
• Perform tasks accurately and up to our quality standard
• Collaborate with web designers and back-end designers to complete projects
• Create wireframes and mockups of site/application designs
• Turn feedback into custom solutions for client needs
• Optimize apps/sites to improve performance and efficiency
• Author technical documentation

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience building functional and effective platforms
• Fluency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• A strong technical portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Client-facing experience
• UX training a plus
• Minimum of 2 years or more in a related role
• Demonstrated experience with increasingly complex projects
• Experience with tools used for data validation and comparison
• Preparing and delivering information in a concise, professionally written format
• Preparing and presenting information to staff in formal settings
• Working in teams, task forces, etc.
• Analysing and developing solutions to problems
• Managing various projects, work, technical support, etc.
• Developing and maintaining positive internal customer rapport
• Good Organizational skills
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
