Our client is a leading commercial Bank and Financial Service provider specializing in delivering Personalized solutions to individuals, business and institutions. Currently, they are seeking a Partnership Manager, Public Sector (SM-AGM

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Responsible For: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies and tactical business plans, considering market opportunities, growth potential, competitor activities, existing capabilities, and the bank’s risk appetite. 
  • Identify target markets and customer segments, defining tailored propositions to meet their specific needs. 
  • Devise and implement product offerings and sales mixes that align with the bank’s strategic goals. 
  • Foster a service-based sales culture within the unit to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business customer inquiries, collaborating with internal partners to support various banking functions such as cash management, credit, treasury, and transaction support. 
  • Proactively source opportunities with prospective businesses in the community, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive growth. 
  • Oversee transactional activities, including account monitoring and credit analysis, ensuring compliance with risk and fraud management policies. 
  • Provide sound advice and guidance to businesses on financial strategies, including optimizing cash functions and leveraging opportunities to improve returns on capital. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognized university. 
  • A postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an added advantage. 
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in banking, with a focus on corporate and commercial banking. 
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic management, business development, and profitability management within a banking context. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and banking regulations. 
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. 
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment. 
  • In-depth understanding of corporate and commercial banking products and services. 
  • Leadership and team management skills. 
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively. 
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. 
  • Unquestionable integrity and a high level of commitment.
